Planted in 1865 it is a small dry grown gnarly old vineyard producing tiny quantities of intensely flavoured fruit. Hand harvested these gems are then given tender loving care in the winery. An exhilarating expression of the very best Barossa Shiraz can be and truly a world class wine

A magnificent offering, the instantly appealing bouquet shows blackberry, warm spice, vanillin oak, roast meat and dark chocolate characters. The palate delivers outstanding concentration and depth, wonderfully enhanced by plump mouthfeel and velvety tannins. It's opulent and mouth-filling with layers of delectable flavours, making it hugely appealing. At its best: now to 2037.
